Exhibition - from 31 March to 7 April 2012
Out of the Crowd 2012's exhibition is inviting the french graphic designer collective L'Atelier du Bourg and their exhibition projet "Homer's Odyssey in 48 prints". The exhibition, bringing together artists from all over France and Belgium, tries to recount the epic tale of Ulysses through a series of contemporary prints, made by lino-, woodcut and silkscreen print. Based on a text considered complex and old-fashioned, the exhibition offers a modern vision of Homer's work, but also of traditional printing techniques. An unconventional journey questioning the notions of transmission and interpretation.
From 31 march to 7 april, open from tuesday to saturday 14h-19h, free entrance !

The Redneck Manifesto (EIR)
They're be the last confirmed and we're super proud to welcome the mighty Redneck Manifesto for this exclusive performance at the Out Of The Crowd festival!
Their brand of Math-Rock/Post-Rock makes them one of the pioneer bands of this genre! Their live shows are probably their best weapon playing with passion and with their hearts out!
It's definitely not to miss then as it will be their only show in Europe!

Third and last local act confirmed!
The last local act to be confirmed for this 09th edition of the Out Of The Crowd festival is the practically newcomer's band : Mount Stealth.
After having played in bands such as Mutiny On The Bounty, Miaow Miaow, Actarus, Lafa Connected, Metro and so much more, this lot has decided to create a new entity where experimental, math-rock and post-rock never worked that much together.
This will be their second gig ever (after their first one last July as a warm-up) so don't dare miss that!

First Hip-Hop act ever at OOTC festival
Yes, you've correctly read it.
It will be the first time that we'll ever welcome a hip-hop act at the festival.
But we're talking about a very special band called Le Klub Des Loosers, with their funky beats and their jazzy atmospheres, they create some kind of (hipster-hop) with vitriolic lyrics! I fyou're not familiar with their univers, check them out, they're truely an amazing band!

we've got a special treat from Ireland that we always wanted to have at our festival and it will be nontheless than the amazing, what do I say Incredible, Fabulous or any superlative : Adebisi Shank!
These three lads are probably one of the most electrifying band in experimantal rock at the moment with energetic live shows and an innovative brand of music!
